Self Drilling Anchor Range
The self drilling anchor system is a fully threaded hollow core bar that initially serves as a drill rod with a sacrificial bit, and once grouted in place, becomes a permanent anchor tendon that can be stressed and locked off with a nut. This single-operation system — drilling, installation, and grouting combined — delivers optimal solutions for soil nailing, rock bolting, micro piling, and ground anchoring in difficult ground and rock conditions.

R Thread Hollow Bar (Standard)
R thread self drilling anchor bolt system comprising hollow bar, anchor nut, plate, coupler, drill bit, and centraliser. Available in R32S and R38N. Drilling, installation, and grouting in a single operation — an economic alternative to cased drilling with low personnel requirements and flexible length adjustment via couplers.

TDG Hollow Bar (Galvanised)
Thermal Diffusion Galvanised hollow bar produced by zinc sublimation, forming a metallurgically bonded zinc-iron alloy layer. Exceptional corrosion, wear, and scratch resistance without affecting mechanical properties. R32S and R38N. Compliant with SANS 53811 and ISO 17668.
Nuts
Hex nuts with internal threads that transfer the anchoring force of the hollow bar to the bearing plate. Machined with curved, flat, or spherical end profiles for optimal load distribution.
Bearing Plates
Flat and spherical bearing plates that evenly transfer stress from the anchor rod to the surrounding rock or soil. Customisable sizes for varied ground conditions and load requirements.
Couplers
Internal-threaded couplers with a central termination position, matched to the hollow bar thread profile. Equal strength to the bar, enabling flexible length extension during drilling.
Centralisers
Precision-engineered centralisers that maintain uniform bar positioning within the borehole, ensuring consistent grout cover and optimal load transfer across the full anchor length.
