OVERVIEW

The self-drilling anchor system is a fully threaded hollow core bar that initially serves as a drill rod with a sacrificial bit, and once grouted in place, becomes a permanent anchor tendon that can be stressed and locked off with a nut. This single-operation system — drilling, installation, and grouting combined — delivers optimal solutions for soil nailing, rock bolting, micro piling, and ground anchoring in difficult ground and rock conditions.

R thread self-drilling anchor bolt system comprising hollow bar, anchor nut, plate, coupler, drill bit, and centralizer. Available in R32S and R38N sizes. Drilling, installation, and grouting are performed in a single operation — an economic alternative to cased drilling with simple systems, low personnel requirements, and flexible length adjustment via couplers.

TDG HOLLOW BAR (GALVANISED)

Thermal Diffusion Galvanised (TDG) hollow bar, produced using a zinc sublimation reaction, to coat steel as an alternative to hot dip galvanising. Creating a surface protection process that forms a zinc-iron alloy layer through metallurgical bonding. Available in R32S and R38N sizes. The coating provides exceptional corrosion resistance, thread performance, wear resistance, and scratch resistance without affecting mechanical properties. Compliant with SANS 53811 and ISO 17668
